Juicy Jar

Support

How to play

Drop fruit into the jar with one thumb. Two of the same fruit merge into the next one up the ladder โ€” cherry, strawberry, grape, and so on to the watermelon. Everything you drop stays in the jar. If the pile crosses the dashed line and settles there, the run ends.

Questions

What is the chain bonus?
When a merge drops a new fruit straight into its twin, that second merge is a chain and pays a multiple of the normal score. Building cascades is worth far more than merging as soon as you can.
What happens when two watermelons touch?
They cancel each other out for a large bonus, which frees up space at the bottom of a full jar.
I closed the app mid-game. Did I lose my run?
No. The board is saved when the app goes to the background and restored the next time you open it.
Can I turn off the sound or the vibration?
Yes โ€” the two buttons under the NEXT panel toggle sound and haptics independently, and the setting is remembered.
Does the game need an internet connection?
No. Every part of the game plays offline. Two optional things use a connection when there is one: the Game Center leaderboard, and the ads you can choose to watch to recharge an item.
Do I have to watch ads?
No. There are no banners and no interstitials. An ad appears only when you tap to watch one in exchange for an undo, a bomb, or one more life after the jar overflows. Every run also gives you one undo and one bomb for free.
Why does the game ask for permission to track me?
Because the ads that recharge the items are sold by Google, and allowing tracking is what lets them be personalised. You can decline โ€” the prompt is Apple's and both answers are real. Declining changes nothing in the game: same items, same free charges, same ads offered at the same moments. It only means your advertising identifier is not shared and the ads you choose to watch are not chosen from your interests. To change your answer later, go to Settings โ†’ Privacy & Security โ†’ Tracking. There is more detail in the privacy policy.
Is my score stored anywhere?
Your best score is kept on your device. If you are signed in to Game Center, your score is also submitted to the leaderboard โ€” signing out of Game Center stops that. See the privacy policy.
